Meet Josh

I'm Josh. I started Tarai Marketing in 2024, and we only work with automotive shops.

It started with Garry from Magnum Ceramic Coating. We got talking, started working together, and now Magnum's biggest clients are our biggest clients too. Garry sells more coating, the shops get booked out, and we grow with them. It's a win for everyone, and that's how I like to do business.

My favourite part of the job is watching a shop grow. I've seen guys go from a home garage to a big warehouse. If you're a one-man band, we take away the up and down weeks, so you've got consistent jobs coming in. If you're an established shop, we open up a new channel for jobs and set up systems that help your team sell more.

I'm in this for long-term relationships, not quick wins.

Who is Tarai Marketing?

Tarai Marketing is an Australian automotive marketing agency, working mainly with ceramic coating, PPF and window tint shops. We make and run your Facebook and Instagram ads, set up an AI assistant that texts your enquiries back and books jobs, and give you a booking app.

How much do I need to spend all up?

Our fee is $1,800 + GST a month, plus ad spend from $50 a day paid straight to Facebook.

Most shops cover their costs by around their 7th booked job. A single PPF job can be worth $3,000 to $10,000+.

Do I have to reply to every enquiry?

No. The AI texts them back first.

You see every message it sends and how customers reply
If it books them in for a call or a visit, you take it from there
In most cases, you're the one who closes the sale

Do I have to be on camera?

No. There are three kinds of ads that work for our shops, and you can pick what suits you.

Some of our best ads have had no faces in them at all, just a voiceover over the work. So if you'd rather stay off camera, that's fine.

Does the AI call my customers?

No. It only texts. Phone calls still come straight through to you or your team.

Do I need a content shoot?

No. We can work with what you already have.

If you do want one, you might only need it once a quarter, or as little as once every couple of years. It depends on how quickly your ads wear out in your area.

Does this work alongside my Google ads?

Yes, and you'll often see each one help the other.

Facebook and Instagram get you in front of people earlier, before they've started searching. So when they're ready, you're the shop they already know.
Every lead from us is tracked separately, so you'll know exactly what each side is doing

I've got more than one location. How does pricing work?

We can sort special pricing for multiple locations and franchises. We'll go through it on the call.

Am I locked in?

No. Month to month, with 7 days' notice to cancel.

What happens if I leave?

If you decide to move on, we can share all your data and lead information with you.
